It was indeed a beautiful spot. We stopped here for a snack and all I could think was.....I need my fishing pole and a canoe. The lake was shallow around the banks but looked like it could hold trout in the deeper areas. Very little known about this lake but it sure is a beauty. Elevation between 7,000' and 7,500' It is completely spring fed, no streams coming in or going out. It must look like this all year.
