I understand not wanting to give it up for peanuts... and I certainly would want to be fair yet reasonable. Here are my thoughts based on the pics you have up - This is a standard procuction 2006 jigged bone handle trapper, no box (you have not mentioned one and don't show it in any pics) In 2006 these would have run in the area of $45-55 with box and papers. Since no box is available and due to this being a fairly recent knife also this being a standard issue (no commemorative or limited issue) I would place it currently at the low end of that range myself. If you had the box and papers it would bring more value.

Let me know what you would like to do if this helps.

HI. I THINK IT WAS MY 2ND POST RIGHT HERE:

HI!
SORRY FOR THE DELAY.
I AM NOT A CASE COLLECTOR.
I HAVE MORE PICS, INCLUDING CLOSE-UPS.
I HAVE TRIED TO DO RESEARCH BUT NO GOOD AT IT REGARDING CASE.
I DON'T WANT TO GIVE IT AT A LOW PRICE AND THEN IT COMES LIKE ONE OF THOSE RARE ONES I HAVE SEEN. ANYONE CAN HELP?
=================================
THING IS, I HAVE NOOOO IDEA ABOUT PRICE FOR THIS CASE, SINCE AS IT IS NOW OBVIOUS JAJAJ I AM NOT A PRO ON CASE. I DON'T WANT TO GIVE IT FOR PEANUTS AND THEN LATER ON REALIZE IT IS A GEM.

Just a side note - if you are interested in selling, trading your knives it would help a potential buyer or trade partner if you post a price for your items.
The knife I have listed is $125 (does not include postage) and I have already reduced it from $145 as originally posted. What is your price on this knife?

Dots with the X's would be used as well to figure 0ut the year. So with 4 x's and no dots this is a 2006 production knife.

I do have the Lennon fixed blade hunter available would you be willing to work out a trade? email me and we'll discuss.

rcothren@att.net or you can email me here in IKC.

I DON'T SEE DOTS.
THAT GOOD?
Comment by Rick Cothren on February 11, 2010 at 13:54
Ok, 2 above and 2 below would be 2006, are there any dots "." on the same line as any of the x's above and below?
Comment by SVEN FIGUEROA on February 10, 2010 at 16:45
2 X ARE BELOW
Comment by Rick Cothren on February 10, 2010 at 16:13
How many X's are below. The number of X's or dots will tell you when the knife was made. Take the # of X's and subtract from 10, for example if there are 5 X's alltogether above and below the name, not in same line as name then it would be 2005 year production.

ABOVE THE CASE NAME ARE 2 X, IN THE CAS NAME ARE 2 X, AND BELOW THE CASE NAME ARE MORE X.
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Thanks for the extra photos... On the main blade how many X's are below the word case, there are two above it but can't see those below.
