Have had this Viper "Hug" for a couple weeks now, but have been too busy to get around to photographing it until last night. Love the heft of the dark stonewashed bronze frame and how the black stonewashed blade complements it. Its 5+ ounce weight is really not an issue, since it would ride in a belt sheath … not in the pocket.

Yup .... from Maniago, Italy. And, as I said. For me, weight is no issue since it will be belt sheath carried. There are a lot of variations (blade finish and handle material) of the Hug. This one really appealed to me.
Interesting looking knife. Italian?
The metal (bronze) frame would lend itself to being quite a bit heavier, but there is something about that feature that I like the looks of. A lot.
I am finding myself intrigued with some of the features and the manufacturing processes required to achieve them.
Thank you for the additional pics! You threw those up as I was typing this reply. Loving them. :)
