Zero Tolerance. The tactical division of Kai USA (parent company of Kershaw). While their tag/advertising line sounds a little overdone ("serious missions, serious combat knives"), I have to say that they walk the proverbial talk. As most of you may know, I have a variety of ZT blades. Shown here is what I consider to be the slimmest of the bunch; the Scavenger 0400. Really, just looking at this knife tells you what it is supposed to do; help protect it's owner. Tough aluminum handle (with trac-tec inserts on the left side) with a beefy-thick (5/32" I believe) S30V tanto-recurve blade. This knife...while not nearly as "overtly heavy-duty" as the rest of the ZT's, is certainly ready to perform. The liner lock is one of the thickest that I've seen (this side of a frame lock). Blade deployment is user's choice; you can go thumb-stud or flipper. Normally, I prefer the thumb-stud, but in this case...I like the flipper deployment better. Good handle length provides a bigger user with a reasonable amount of real estate. I decided to get this knife after RicK (here on iKC) recommended it to me. Digging it! ZT time...

I plan on getting this, too. How do you like it?
