Dale, they reintroduced them here 10 to 15 yrs ago and there population exploded. I wake up some mornings and there will be 50+ hens in the field in front of the house and this time of year the Tom's are strutting around. Beautiful site to see. I think that group is around 25 to 30 Hens in the picture some are just out of site.

I counted 5 .. then .. blew the pic up .. a bunch of em there !!

Up in WI, the DNR reintroduced them during my youth .. you'll now see them 60~100 in a flock .. hunters love it .. farmers not so keen on it ..
