New double sided paddle strop and my first try at making a hanging strop. Vegetable tanned cow hide and hemp linen.

Thanks, Jan and Ron. I have done a few paddle strops before but this is the first hanging strop I have made. It works well, I shaved with a razor sharpened on it this morning!

Good show, mate! A quality leather strop and jeweler's rouge are two of the most valuable weapons in my knife sharpening arsenal. You'll be writin' songs about these creations for years, John.

Thanks Ellis, they aren't difficult to do but the hanging strop needed a few things like the rivets buying.etc.
