I would still call it carved. Somebody in Spain carved the relief areas with a carver or small chisel. It is definitely not inlay. Engraved makes me think a machine took off the material. It looks hand done to me.

It is a rather unique design. Never seen one like it.

It is not inlay. All hand carved out of bone. Yes it was advertised as Spain Bone; not sure what is special about spain bone
