OK,what happens when you take some of the finest steels and add some of the rarest most exotic handle materials and combine them?
This set of folders...

The blades are VG10/Damascus. Without a doubt one of the best blade steels avalible today.
and the handles are 15,000 year old Wooly Mammoth Ivory.. How cool is that? Its amazing material that has a classy look and feel. Not only is this Cobolt blue mammoth ivory beautiful. Its as rare as a diamond to find it with this natural color! Why? Mammoth ivory has been burried for thousands of years. And when its found, The colors will vary greatly from one piece to the other. from very light creamy colors , to deep browns and blacks.. and every once in a while, Blues or even greens.
The reason for this is mainly that is absorbs the minerals and stuff from around it. Very little of the ivory discovered and sold will have this amazing color. I was lucky to find this chunk of tusk a few years back. and have been waiting for the right project to use them one!

Im just amazed by these and most Naturaly beautiful materials like Ivory and Mammoth tooth and burls! That really makes me tick!!

The Trapper is a full sized 2 blade, with nickle silver bolsters and mosaic pins securing the ivory handle.
