The black pick bone is really nice on this knife. The story is that they were going to produce 1500 of these but only got about 350 done before they ran out of black bone material. Don't know if it true or not but there's only a few of them for sale on the net and this one is the prototype.

This bugger nicked the inside of my index finger when I was closing it. Hell, some Samurai believed a sword should never be sheath until after it drew blood so anytime the blade came out of the scabbard and was not in combat, the owner would nick his own thumb before sheathing it. I bet made a nice thumb print pattern.
