I was ~ 30 ft out of camp when I took this. Finding a flat spot lg enough to pitch a tent was .... the most difficult part of the day.

.. the backpac was waayyy too heavy .. it was just for a couple nights .. I overpacked ..

.. the air was thinner than I was used to .. she lives there ..

.. we should have taken the filter .. we packed the H2O in .. foolish us ..

.. bagels, sprouts, cheese, roast beef, carrots, apples, tea, .. the beef was a concession to Dad .. she's vegan ..

.. the most difficult part of the entire hike was finding a spot flat enough to pitch a couple tents ..
