Boy Scout Throwing Tomahawk | Camp Hatchet | Blacksmith Forged Axe

This is what I got for my grandson Charles to practice throwing for his upcoming BSA camporee and throwing tournament.

18 inch Scout Tomahawk Hand Forged Throwing Hawk / Axe / Hatchet suitable for young adult & adult throwers (Ages 12+). This tomahawk is slightly lighter (thinner blade) than the Competition Hawk - customized for the Boy Scouts of America.

Balanced for throwing.
* Overall Length: 18 inches
* Blade Edge: 3.75 inches!
* Handle: Straight Grain American Hickory (USA Made)
* Handle Finish: Smooth Sanded & Wax Coated
* Use: Recreational or Competition
* Weight: About 1.4 lbs

Each tomahawk comes with an authentic hand forged & heat treated tomahawk head & an American Hickory straight grain wood handle. Each hawk head is crafted by hand and features unique hammer marks from the blacksmith. Each tomahawk head is unique.

That looks great, I would have loved one of those as a twelve year old !

Come to think of it I would love one now , though I think if I started throwing one of those in this country I would soon be surrounded by armed police  !!
