I agree & was sincerely impressed. The response speaks volumes for their consideration of the consumer of their product. It also conveys .. to me, anyway .. the level of pride they have in their product.

.

I contacted them through the "contact us" function of their website ..&.. simply hoped for a response indicating the blade steel's generic name and general range of hardness. I received much more.

.

My initial request was worded ... ... ...

.

Message : My daughter recently purchased for me a Teckal-8A while she was visiting Barcelona. It is a WONDERFUL knife .. I am VERY happy with it !!! . My question is .. what is the blade steel type ?? . I am unable to find a definitive answer to the type of blade steel used in the Teckel-8A. I am also interested to know what the blade steel is tempered @ .. e.g. 57+/- 1 HRC ??? . Would you please provide that information for me. Specifically .. they blade steel used & the temper of that steel .. in your model Teckal-8A. . I would be grateful for any information you would supply. . Again .. I have found it a wonderful addition to my knife collection. . Sincere regards. Dale Davenport.
