This was my first kit knife. I bought the blade on a whim, assuming it would be easier to work with a really big blade. I was placing an order with SMKW and needed to spend $6 to get the over $50 free shipping. The blade was $12. Considering what the shipping charges would've been, I got the blank foe $5.

The blade is 11 inches long. The grip is 6.5 inches and the cross guard another 1/4 inch. Overall length is just shy of 18 inces.
