@Steve Hanner: I've never "used" it yet. Want to find another so I can use one and keep the other for my collection. Hell of an axe, made for using. Shaving edge on it, guthook is quite sharp, fairly well balanced in case you need to throw it, good grip under the blade for skinning. If you can find one, it's an excellent hunting companion. They are getting quite hard to find now, and are floating around $500. Feels great in hand though. Well worth having. :)
