I like that not only is the price better, it is more durable than pure abalone

that's a really gorgeous looking knife! it looks just like paua abalone. in fact, if i hadn't read the comments i would have most certainly thought that's what it was. it's beautiful!

Yes, it is!  I'm really glad that GEC offers the Looking Glass option. Pure Abalone would have been out of my price range. Actually my wife's price range. She got this one for me on my last Birthday.
