So far it's been great. I used it to dismantle and piece up two shrub type trees in my backyard to make room for a vegie garden and it did far better than I thought... Then I took it camping (where the pic is taken) and I was able to batton with it and prep kindling, and again it worked great. I've thought about convexing the edge, but so far I've had no reason to... All in all, great knife for the price!
