The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
Here's something a little different ... but loving it. It's a J.D. Ware coin knife made from a .900 silver Spanish Colonial 8-Reale coin minted in Mexico City in 1788. The coin was split precisely in half and contains two 1" 440C blades, a cutting blade and a file blade (springs are also 440C). The coin knife is attached to a .925 silver keychain, handmade by Yucatecan jeweler Carlos Canul.
