Thanks for the response, Karl! I really love that effect with the blued guard. That caught my eye immediately as I started viewing your knives. Great work!

My Damascus is hot-blued as well.

Stunning! I love the entire family! The guards on these knives do not appear to be Damascus? Were they blued?
