If I am going hiking or adventuring,I will almost always throw a tomahawk or a large fixed blade in my go-bag.The big tools perform tasks the little blades cannot at times.

I hear you Jeremi I do prefer to carry my spyderco knifes to but the military is to big for the office I want to buy the paramilitary 2 soon :) also carry a Buck Vantage select the bigger i scored it on ebay for 16 USD nice medium size but you also need a bigger tactical blade. You never know when it comes handy.  BTW i love tanto blades :)

Thanx Patrik. The knife under it is a CRKT Pharoah Auto-conversion.It is hefty, but as strong as a fixed blade w/auto lawks&button lock. The fixed tanto is the 1st knife i made called the "Ti-Tanto".It is made of 6Al-4v Titanium that was going to be used as armor plate on a Lockheed aero space project.Of all blades up here,I would say the Spyderco gets worn as EDC the most for folders.

Full serrated Military nice nice and also the knife under it looks like the nightmare grind from Strider.
