They are Jan I was watching a video recently of modern razors being made in Solingen and they are stamped out of sheet steel . I am sure they are good razors , but forged by hand by men who were heir to all that history of hand working .. well that is just something else to me .

This is just amazing to me.  I see forging on an almost daily basis but these are on a master of the masters level

Yes Dale they are very pre ban , they are the original scales from the mid 1800's , the ban over here is from 1947.

They are very nice to the touch it's no wonder ivory was so popular back in the day , i have never come across the real stuff before !

Also these razors sharpen up really well !!
