Thanks you guys. Jan, as always, gave us some great feedback and input when we saw her at Knife Days. These knives may come from east central Illinois, but there is a whole world and input from our great friends in this knife community. We sincerely appreciate it and know we are truly blessed.

Good luck to you and the hubby! Here's wishing you all the best at the Blade Show! I'll look forward to checking out your website once its up and running!
If Jan says they're good, then, they're GOOD!
Woohooo, the website is coming. I have had the opportunity to hold these, gotta tell you, they are a fantastic knife
Good morning, thanks Ron! My husband, Danny, is the maker.
Danny started our knife business when he retired from the Illinois State Police 13 years ago. He wanted to make some himself, so this year he started Cougar Creek Knife Company (Cougar Creek Knives). We had a few done for the Ohio Knife Days Show in April, and are going to release all of the patterns he's finished at the Blade Show next week.
We currently have seven different patterns, all fixed blades. They are ATS-34, 1095, or Damascus steel. Danny has used G10, Linen and Canvas Micarta, Cocobolo, Bone, Buffalo Horn, Cherry, Carbon Fiber, and Hedge, so far on the handles.
We have Gordons Leather, a company in Illinois, make our sheaths. They do a fantastic job and as icing on the cake, we they are GREAT people and we really enjoy working with them.
We will open our website www.cougarcreekknives.com next week where all of the knives we have finished will be posted.
Those are some really nice looking knives, Tracey! Where can I read more about them? Are you the maker? I'm drawing blanks when I Google Cougar Cutlery. I love the different handle options and the 1095 steel!
