Just seems to be a lockback with no ratcheting sound. It has some blade and tang markings but I just haven't had the time to put a glass on it to read. I just picked it up on Sunday afternoon for $1.50 so I just couldn't resist.

.. is there a series of lock stops that "ratchet" as the blade is opened ?? a spanish/corsican/italian knife style purported to instill fear simply w/ that ratcheting opening sound .. weapon of choice for "tough guys" .. all I can recall from a source I cannot recall ..
