Charles, I have a few knives that people have given that are not collectible but I also wouldn't part with them because they were given from the Heart!

Plus none of mine are named after a town or an actual truck!

The fact that the Fowlerville, Michigan fire department has an engine 425 and I found a picture of it on the internet is one thing that makes this knife cool to me.  Another is that it was a CHRISTmas gift from my mother who passed on several years ago.  So I definitely will not be parting with it even though it is not an expensive, or probably not even collectible to most people, knife.

I have been thinking about writing to the Fowlerville FD to ask if they had anything to do with the knife or if the maker just happened to use their name and that engine no.
