Kershaw Avalanche 1570 Designed By Ken Onion

Kershaw Avalanche 1570

Funny how far we have come in the way knives look compared to say 20 years ago like this blast for the past the Kershaw Avalanche 1570 was at the time (2001) one of Ken Onion's early career releases. a very basic design, but very functional. this knife and the ricochet were both made by hand and carefully constructed. it's one of the first spring-assited blades around that time it features cpm 440v steel and the blade is uncoated i picked this one up brand new in a box a yard sale! at the time 2001 the knife went for around $39.99. you find one brand new on ebay it will cost you upwards of about $279 My cost was $8.99 gotta love those yard sales!
