This is the very rare Northwoods Scagel Series 10 Prototype. The late Dave Shirley, founder of Northwoods Knives, only had one prototype for each pattern built for his inspection and approval and this is the Series 10 Prototype. The Series 10 safety folder or folding bowie (9 1/4 inches overall) is the most limited of all the Northwoods Scagel's with only around 85 pieces ever built making this gorgeous prototype very desirable
