I like how they tell you (reading upside down on box side on the image) how to maintain the knife - oil joints, sharpen with a few strokes, but mostly "raise back of blade 1/8" from stone". It's all very well saying I sharpen to 12 degrees, or 18 degrees or whatever - but I wonder how many of us really have equipment that can accurately measure that angle ... especially a typical knife purchaser who just wants a knife and wants to put an edge back on, and not be involved as some of us are, and others (like me) are becoming.
