I describe the knife shown in this photo as "compact tactical tank". Made by Lion Steel, the DPx Hest is one burly little companion! D2 steel. VERY grippy G10 handle scale...with a nicely stonewashed Titanium scale on the lock side (this is a frame lock design with a roto lock mechanism for increased safety at the user's discretion).

The quality of this knife is excellent. Fit, finish, lockup...all wonderful. Nice attention to detail. For being a bit compact, the grip is surprisingly comfortable. I do with that the knife were just about 20% larger. I do like the brawny thickness of the D2 steel blade. I have a weakness for thick steel....
