Sometimes, it pays to add something very unusual to a collection.

Those who have viewed the photos that I've posted know that I'm a big fan of Allen Elishewitz. Generally, his designs seem to combine a very modern, contemporary design aesthetic with elements of Ancient Greece. Or...at least that is the way I see it. In any event, Allen isn't the only stellar-custom-maker doing this. Kirby Lambert also does it...and rather magnificently, I might add! Shown here is Kirby's incredible Justice design. It's a big knife with premium materials (154CM, Carbon Fiber, G10, Titanium)...all put together with absolutely IMPECCABLE quality. I've commented before that Chris Reeve Knives are, literally "flawless". Kirby Lambert's products hit that extraordinarily high water mark!

The Justice model...for a variety of reasons...reminds me of the Green Lantern comics that I read as a young boy. Without a doubt, some of it is due to the G10 handle scales and Carbon Fiber bolsters. Perhaps it's the name (though this will sound exceptionally "nerdy", Green Lantern was a member of the Hall of Justice...or maybe it was the Justice Society? Well...that was a lifetime ago, so I can't say for certain).

Nevertheless, the Kirby Lambert Justice knife is a very big and EXCEPTIONALLY mind blowing example of modern knife-making and design. Kirby: my hat is off to you!

Looks very ferocious, like a T. Rex.
