J.J.,

  I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your friend Jack. The thing that most people don't understand about dogs is it's not what you think about the dog, but it's what HE think about you; no matter the circumstance. If you don't mind, I'm going to keep a copy of your ode to Jack. One of my 4 dogs is named Jack as well. I hope the above tribute to a dog helps to ease your grief.

Sorry to learn of the sad news, JJ.    We lost our Snuggles 2 years ago.  The home was never quieter than when we came home without her.  We have acquired 2 more rescue dogs since then.  However, when you have lost a special dog,  it will never quite be the same,   You will have Jack in your heart forever.  Bill
