Somethings don't change. And that is a GOOD thing. In this case, I'm talking about Emerson's consistent quality and the materials that they put into their blades. Shown in this photo is my A100 with a black blade and my Mini A100 with a stonewashed blade. This knife design just fits well in the hand...and in terms of "speed", it feels outrageously fast (I'm referring to using the blade...not deploying it). As is the case with all Emersons, 154cm blade steel (GREAT stuff), G10 handle scales (perfectly textured), titanium liners and just a great all-around design. In particular, I find the stonewashed finish on the Mini A100 very appealing! Emerson really just ROCKS.

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
