Ron, I have seen some unusual ones but I think that is the most unusual I have seen, he was back again last night.

Thanks, Ken! I thought that I was just seeing things that weren't really there. lol That happens to me a lot lately.

Not being a hunter I don't have too much of a reference in regard to what's normal for deer antlers. I just look for symmetry and balance. That unusually long extra spike struck me as being really different! In your years of observing deer have to seen very many with racks that looked that unusual?

Yes, Ron - it is very unusual - I've been watching this deer on camera for some time now. Glad he made it thru Gun Season. Wonder what he will look like next year.

That buck has an unusually long additional spike shooting off of the main antler on the righthand side. Or so it would appear?
