Case XX New Grind. Seller said it was Burnt Oat Meal Derlin. Had what looked to be an 8 dot on the tang. However Case didn't start issueing the New Grind until 1983 so might have been an old Blade. I purchased it for $43.91 including shipping and Tax Never Received Knife see Box for reason.

I also believed it was Bone and was intending to start collecting some New Grinds. Sadly I will never know for sure if it was Natural Bone or as the seller described  Delrin which I doubted . Some things are not meant to be. This was one of them. Thanks Andy for your comment.

Pretty sure that's bone, not delrin.   You can see the granular effect by the front bolster which sure looks like bone to me.
