i found this review today and i think it is a very complete story about the TRE
this is the "normal" version not damast but the rest is exactly the same so if some of you are thinking about getting this superknife .... check this
thanks a lot brian !!! i promise i will !
Awesome knife, and really nice folks to talk to also. Enjoy!
thanks j&j !
i think this will be without any doubt one of my favourite edc's ( but time will tell )
i chose not to use the flipper but only the thubstud ( so super that you can change whatever you want with this knife !! ! ) because the handle quite small and this way i have a much more comfortable grip and a better way to cut "flat"
i really must say that lionsteel used a supersteel for this one 93X " thor " i am a fan !!

That is some sexy damascus!
Looks like a fabulous knife K.C.
thanks leo !!
and oh yeah dale... these lists work very well we use them too !..... however this year my list was very short !!! so the surprise was not so big.... but the satisfaction was great !! the most exiting was that it was almost not in time (for my birthday) from italy..... pffff
!! . made me smile . !!
.
As we've all gotten older ..&.. I'd like to think a little wiser .... my wife & I & my daughter now simply request a "list" from the others when it's gift giving time. The "list" runs the gamut from inexpensive to not .. from silly to serious .. from fun to needed. It allows for budgetary constraints ..yet.. assures the gift will be used ..while.. maintaining a bit of the surprise.
.
Most importantly .. it works.

the stones are the hematite i was talking about john.... ( Fe2O3 ) it was worn by ancient soldiers to help surviving battlefields and was also found in the graves of the pharaos i think it matches the grey nicely
is this lonely little country in europe part of the Union ?? ( becouse of the knife- ban LOL )
