Mikov is a cultery company located in Northern Region of the present day Czech Republic. Mikulášovice is the birth land of cutlery in Czech lands. This particular knife is a Warsaw pact era knife made in Czechoslovakia. It is basically a copy of the Victorinox Recruit except it is made on a 92 mm frame.
