Dad's Buck 112

liners, scales, bolsters, & back spring .. edges radiused / contoured for "comfort fit"

My father was an avid sportsman .. never had the best equip .. spent it on us kids .. I was 18 & in the military .. money to burn .. did this one up for my Dad as a Christmas gift .. 1975

There's 25 yrs of honest wear on this knife .. it's held up .. well .. like all those old Buck folders !!

Everything is still solid .. lock up is safe-n-solid .. smooth action .. yet, the blade is not loose .. I forgot how robust these were .. liners measure ~ .062 .. that's 1/16" solid brass liners .. the exposed (not as oxidized) surface of the pivot pin measures ~ .135" .. they must have used 1/8 inch pivot pins !!
