This is one of two versions of the Moki Leaf by Moki Knife Company in Seki, Japan. It features a 2" VG-10 blade. Sandwiched between the SS bolsters and end caps are mother of pearl scales. The presentation side has the leaf shaped inlay with abalone and mother of pearl. The other version of this knife has wood scales rather than mother of pearl. I got this one as it looked classier as a small gent's knife. However, it will, most likely, go to my daughter as a gift at some point!

Actually, this one will probably be going to her sooner, rather than later.  Her birthday is in August.  So, I guess I will enjoy it until then!

Moki is a fine knife and shows as well as it works.  I have never quite understood how it could be as overlooked as it is in the collectors area.  This one is quite lovely and your daughter will adore it I am sure
