Well my Moore Maker "NorthWoods" Safety knife Gladstone ,Mich. USA  came in today.  Filthiest knife that I have ever received in the mail. This knife was never cleaned or oiled at the factory.  There was some minor pitting on the blade , where the blade rested in the safety track.  The safety track looks like black gun powder residue . My 22 gun patches came out solid black.  I am still cleaning the Safety Track.  I have used vinegar , Cleanzoil gun oil , Balistol , and Seal 1.   I really like this knife , it has character and a new home.  This knife has never been loved or respected.  "POOR BABY"  I need to find a pro to put an edge on him.

I just won this same knife on Evil-bay !  Every time I run across an American made Safety Knife , it has a crazy price attached to it.  I have seen Marbles USA and a Moore Maker Safety knife before.  By looking at your knife on iknifecollector , I just know that my knife will be the real thing.  This will be a drawer knife  with handling marks , and bone patina.  "No Box"  Looks like they never oil it , with light pitting. I am so happy with this killer dream knife.   Paid in full and on the way !  I wonder what the knife sold for brand new ?

I just spotted this same knife for sale.  I did no know if it was a bootleg or not.  100 made !  After looking at this picture , I feel like a safer purchase can be made.

Very sweet !!!! Well done !!!!

I've an old Marble's 4 1/4 that has seen some rough times. I've yet to see a stronger locking mechanism/approach.
