The over all length is about 9.5 inches. The blade is 3.5 inches with a 3 inch edge and the brush is approximately 1 inch. Yhis leaves a handle slighty over 5 inches in the middle. Its is easy to grip and feel very solid in the hand. I'm sure It will be able to take on any mushroom. Even the dreaded zombie mushrooms!
