I just completed this hunter. It was my first attempt at mosaic damascus.

Blade : Basket weave mosaic damascus
Guard and Pommel : "W" pattern damascus
Handle : Buffalo horn
Over all length = 10" app

That basket weave pattern is beautiful. The entire knife is absolutely stunning to look at. I especially like the buffalo horn handle! Great job creating this gorgeous piece of knife art. That's a very impressive first effort working with Damascus.

yeah the handle is what got me right away but the mosaic looks sweet!!... do you have a sheath for this if not its ok i have my own guy?

yes Peter ,,, it was forged from beginning and took a lot of time and effort to make final pattern ,,,

It is always difficult to control the layers and pattern ...

Blade was not forged to shape and it was cut from the final billet,,,
