It was a good day out Jan, we usually do this 2/3 times a year. In july we had a day on a canal by Stratford on Avon,"Shakespeare country" very pretty area. I expect to order another GEC in November , as a Christmas present to myself.

Why, you're a rather handsome devil, there, John! That must be quite a scenic adventure traveling the canal with all of its locks and bridges. How far did you go? I hope you won't mind if I post a photograph of the Llangollen Canal wharf for others to see? 

I'm really glad to see you jumping right in and contributing. It has been my experience that the more I put in, the more I get out. That pretty much holds true for just about everything in life.
