I picked these two up for next to nothing from an individual seller. One is the standard rifle, the other is an M38 carbine that came out of refurb long ago with an M44 stock minus the folding bayonet. I gave the rifle to a young man who had wanted a Mosin Nagant ever since reading about the Finnish sniper Simo Hayha. I like the carbine, it sports a rubber butt pad and a "dog collar" sling since the picture was taken...sweet little low buck milsurp that shoot well.
