Way up near the Canadian border, is a stretch of land between the Marcus Island and Evans areas. Though located in a somewhat mountainous area, the hillsides are dotted with small farms. These remote operations are run very traditionally...akin to what would have been commonplace 70 years ago. In many regards, time seems to move very slowly in this part of the world...with change coming at a very reluctant pace. At times, I'm not sure that the people living in this remote area don't have a better sense of what life is really about...
