That is VERY cool. Will the steel see some use? That stuff is supposed to really shine at edge holding.

My first thought was, "Nice Scagel!" But I see that it's a Gladiator? A rose by any other name, ya know. It's certainly a beautiful knife. I have always been a fan of that style of nail nick, as well as the arrowhead shield.

Let us know how that S60V works out, on the off chance you actually use this knife.

Have you used on of these Seth?  I like the cutouts and the stag is great
