Jan, you're right. This winter will be very hard on the building.
I saw it on a rainy day in early November and it was already looking very bad. It has become a bit of an eye sore.
Parts of the building need to be scraped off and hauled away.

It would be absolutely wonderful if the part of the building that's still standing could somehow be saved.

I am a bit worried that this winter will mean the end of the roof structure and therefor the building

Yes, preserving the building has been something that several people have put heart and souls into finding some

kind of solution.  Unfortunately, Little Valley had very heavy snows last year and a large section of the roof caved in.

This picture has it all for me!! I love pics of OLD buildings..I LOVE Camillus knives..I love history..on top of that the shapes and shadows are really nice...it has a Kubrick feel to me.....
