its not plastic, im not really sure..the grooves are deep,with the glitter in the bottom of the grooves..then the handle looks like it made of clear {like valspar} poured or molded over the glitter and groove material.really pretty still...with no "pull away" from the bolsters.. its called (7c glitterstripe) handle material

YEAH !!!!!!!!!!........big coke and in candy strip is it celluloid or plastic version?
