Thanks all.

The problem my brother had , and myself to a degree, is that the lovely looking long nail nick is so close to the handle scale that it is hard to get your nail at a comfortable angle. I am hoping that it will get easier with use. The spring itself doesn't seem too strong no stronger than my #72 but it is hard on thumb nails though.
