The 243 is a perfect caliber for our farm, just a plain old beanfield rifle.

From groundhogs to whitetail it's what I count on, it's been a good friend on many a chilled morning. Marvin, I hope you can get the whole family, it would definitely be one to be proud of.

It has Jan.

I never thought I'd get the bond I have with this rifle, it's been a good friend on more than a couple hunts, and it's served it's purpose well. I won't need another as long as this ones on my shoulder, I think we'll make some good memories before I retire it. I think it's dated to the 80's so it's served someone before me.

It's a very good shooter, even though it's nothing real special.

Thanks Marvin, it's my favorite whitetail combination.

Remington 700 in 243 Winchester.

And a Buck 110.
