Piff is kind of like the marrow on a bone right? I can understand how that would be a problem.

The aging thing though...I would just think that was cool.

Guys, James knows what he's talking about, it might be hard to get enough great quality Elk for 100 knives. I have some knives made with Elk and some do have piff. If I had it over I would have went with Sambar Stag instead.

Yes Alexander, this is GEC's American Elk.

It's a really nice material, but it ages really fast.

Is that the Elk? I do hope we could get some elk on our 2012 knife. I've always wanted some of that stuff.
