My favorite jack pattern would be the TB swayback from CASE.  Gotte love them wharncliffe blades.  For me it would be a good whittling knife.

JJ, I am going in reverse.

I started with the Dogleg Jack and I moved on to the Serpentine and now I just got the Bullet End. I am on a mission to find myself the perfect Jack knife, so far so goo. The Bullet End will be getting some work soon.

This grouping reminds me of my tastes through the years.

My first knives had spear master blades. 

The second one is reminiscant of what I would have gone for 25 years ago. I liked that frame style.   

As arthuritis has reared its ugly head, I find that the serpantine frames are more to my liking.
