Thanks Ron.  Well, the design where the forks come well forward of the handgrip is called a 'Starship' in Slingshot circles.  For my take on it I simply took it a bit further forward...giving me an extra 10" of draw...and tarted it up a bit.

The arm brace is just an Indian bangle I had to hand so I can't claim credit for that  :)

No...I don't hunt (though I have in times past with guns). I'm vegan now so will not take life unless it is an issue of survival or self defence..  But in these uncertain times I felt that I wanted to know that I could have the ability to do so should the worst come to the worst.  I'm fairly confident that my current slingbows could take a boar (there plenty round here ) and that means a LOT of power !

I don't recall ever seeing a "Slingbow" like this one before. Do you hunt with one? When I lived in Hawaii I would spearfish using what was called a Hawaiian Sling that was fashioned from surgical tubing similar to what you have on your Slingbow. Did you also create the metal plate that fits over the forearm? I guess what I mean is, did you hammer the design onto it? It's a very cool looking weapon, that's for sure!
